Staub Window Restorations

1231 Bourbon Street

A marvelous 1840s Creole Townhouse in the French Quarter, this project started with the reconstruction of a small number of windows that had been destroyed and replaced with inappropriate additions in the early part of the 21st century. After creating traditional 6/6 double-hung window units, SWR was brought in to do more specialized work on the house's full renovation project. Throughout the pandemic, our team has created custom doors, windows, jambs, mantles, shutters, trim, ceilings, flooring, vanities and much more, for this house. Several challenges have been presented with this type of project, but the greatest has been the attention to detail and fine craftsmanship required for this particular project.
